EN | Hi! My name is Maria Gabriela and I'm an illustrator raised in São Vicente, Brazil, a modest but beautiful city surrounded by the ocean. A place that inspired me to create colorful worlds. With a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design in São Paulo State University (UNESP), I started my professional career working in advertising, but soon I discovered the magical world of illustration - and fell in love with it! Since then, I've been living my dream job illustrating picture books, puzzles, cards and toys.
I work digitally and one of my favorite things is being able to work while enjoying a cozy beverage at a local café. :)
A few of my clients include Scholastic, Penguin Workshop, Templar Books, Simon and Schuster and many more.
I'm very passionate about my work and I wish to bring joy, representation and positive change through cheerful characters and vibrant colors.

PT BR | Olá! Meu nome é Maria Gabriela e sou ilustradora criada em São Vicente, São Paulo, cercada pelo oceano. Um lugar que me inspirou a criar mundos coloridos. Formada em Design Gráfico pela Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), comecei minha carreira profissional trabalhando em agências de publicidade, mas logo descobri o mundo mágico da ilustração - e me apaixonei por ele! Desde então, tenho vivido meu trabalho dos sonhos ilustrando livros infantis, quebra-cabeças, cartões e brinquedos. Trabalho digitalmente e uma das minhas coisas favoritas é poder trabalhar numa cafeteria, tomando um cappuccino. :)
